Mathematics-Quadratic Equation

Basic Formula of a Quadratic Equation is ax2 + bx + c

An equation of degree 2 is called Quadration Equation.

In the above formula a, b, c are called coefficients and may have different values. But 'a' must be non - zero value.

If a = 0, then that equation is called linear equation

x is variable and its value is unknown.

Eg ) x2 + 5x + 6

      x2 + 5x + 6             = ( x + 2 ) ( x + 3 )

      Here the value of     x = -2 or -3

The value of x can be calculated using the basic formula
