Mathematics-Zero Slope


The slope of a horizontal line is called Zero slope.

The slope of a line is calculated using the formula
m =  ( y2 -y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )

In the case of horizontal line, all the points lies on the y-axis. So the numerator will get zero. So slope is zero
